Ok I have the JRSC and my static fuel pressure is 58psi. The problem is when I rev the engine it doesn't go into boost until like 4500 rpm, it stays at 20 vacuum, is this normal? It has no torque at all, until after it goes into boost. Also how often should the fan be going on and off, because it's been going off constantly. I also just removed the BTC to see if that helped but it stayed the same. This SC is starting to really irritate me. mad Please help.

I don't know how its possible to have 20"Hg when the throttles open. You got a small animal stuck in your CAI pipe? wink

Don't fall for the same thing I did: I had a kink in my boost gauge line and it read boost building really slow.

Check that first, then check to see if the bypass is working correctly by blipping the throttle from underneath the hood. You should see the actuator arm of the bypass diaphram snapping in and out quickly.

If that checks out OK then check to make sure your belts are tight.

What gauges do you have? Do you know your fuel pressures? Another thought is that you are real lean. Check that the JR relay is hooked up right.

I would think that if you were real lean that you'd be detonating like a mofo though so you might be too fat (your fuel mixture, not you). smile

I would still check the boost gauge operation. Just tempoirarily attach it to a vacuum port on the TB and see if you vacuum gauge works any different. If not double check there are no kinks in the nylon tubing.

SinisterSI: Those A/F gauges aren't super accurate, but 4-5 bars into the green is usually pretty damn rich.

I've always aimed for 2 bars into green at WOT.

Also, it's not a big thing, but you might want to up the gap on your plugs to .038".

Thanks Holden nice informative site smile. Hey how would I know if I have a vacuum leak? Would my boost gauge not go into boost at all? or would it mostly stay in vacuum?

If you can pull 20" vacuum, any vacuum leak you may have is not very big. How's idle?
